We are looking for a Liaison, with or without a nursing background, who would be responsible for designing, developing, and driving cutting edge sales strategies to increase admissions that leverage Consulate's core competence in the area of short term rehabilitation and rehabilitating medically complex patients/residents. This position is also responsible for increasing tours and admissions to drive facility census by opening and maintaining accounts with insurers, community organizations, physicians, and hospitals, which generate patient referrals and admissions.
Core responsibilities include:
Evaluate and coordinate admissions for multiple care centers with appropriate team members
Create and manage a fluid target list of contacts and decision makers in assigned hospitals
Strong business development skills in order to create and sustain strategic partnerships that will result in a robust pipeline of referrals and admission volume in order to sustain center's budget
Knowledge and previous experience working with ACOs, bundled payments, and preferred provider networks is desirable but not a requirement
Ability to schedule high level meetings with executive hospital personnel as well as hospitalists, physician groups, specialists, home health and hospice providers in order to discuss center's clinical capabilities and outcomes is required in order to align center as the provider of choice in assigned market.
Work collaboratively with Business Development Coordinator and center's management team in order to ensure admissions are communicated effectively prior to actual admission so that the process remains streamlined and fluid
Continuously promotes a positive, approachable, and professional demeanor with referral sources, internal team, and external customers in order to establish self as "go to" person for referrals, new business, and to increase community awareness of center's capabilities to manage both short term and long term admissions.
Must be able to work on a weekend rotation that will include Saturdays only with a day off during the week. Rotation is subject to change but will typically be once or twice per month.
Qualified applicants must possess the following:
Active RN or LPN License preferred but not required.
Prefer Bachelors degree in a Healthcare field and/or marketing
Previous LTC experience preferred, but not required.
Two (2) years experience in business development within the healthcare profession. Managed care/insurance experience required.
Experience with public and commercial payers sources preferred. Reason to join the team:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
